It is spring!

The Former PK: I started this blog in 2008 because I arrange words for a living and we have a lot of friends scattered across the world. But then our life became less ordinary. My husband (J/Deal) and I (P/Steadee) have worn many hats since we gave up a permanent home in 2011. With more than 12,000 cumulative trail miles, our outdoor adventures include thru hikes of the Appalachian Trail (AT) and Te Araroa (TA) in New Zealand. When not in the backcountry, we are piecing together work in the outdoor industry and hospitality businesses.
