Hello everyone, this is Deal. Yesterday Steadee turned 33 and I do believe she had a great day, thanks to all of your cards, emails, phone messages and texts. The night before she indulged in some yummy backpacker desert meals.
Then on her bday we hiked 23 miles to the town of Duncannon PA (through some threatening afternoon storms) and had a real meal and stayed in the legendary Doyle hostel (a real treat...).
During the day, Fire Marshall and I sang happy birthday with a candle atop of Apple House homemade cookies, thanks to the Fire Marshall's dad (Fire Chief) for bringing them to us and Alex (Fire Marshall's girlfriend) for baking them.
